Deep Freezer in Amritsar
Chest freezers for long-term frozen storage, in hard-top and glass-top builds, plus ultra-low temperature models that hold down to −60 °C for pharma, seafood and specialist stock. In Amritsar, June afternoons average 38.3 °C and humidity averages 67% across the year — here is what that means when you choose and run one.
Checklist for a deep freezer in Amritsar
- Ask for a rated ambient of 43 °C. Amritsar sees roughly 80 days a year above 35 °C, and a deep freezer inside a kitchen or shop runs hotter still.
- Check that the freezer holds −18 °C or colder at 43 °C ambient — many chest freezers lose margin in May to June, and ice cream softens first.
- Plan a defrost routine; frost thicker than about 5 mm makes the freezer work harder.
- Clean the condenser coil more often than monthly — heat and grease in Amritsar clog it fast, and a blocked coil is the most common reason a unit can't keep up in summer.
- Give the unit its own earthed socket and ask about its operating voltage range; summer evening voltage dips are hard on compressors.
- For long power cuts, ask about hold-over time — how long the freezer stays below −18 °C with the lid shut.
