Display Cases & Showcases in Kohima
Refrigerated countertop showcases for sushi, deli, pastry and confectionery. Curved glass keeps the product in view while the case holds an even, gentle chill that does not dry the surface out. In Kohima, July afternoons average 24.6 °C and humidity averages 83% across the year — here is what that means when you choose and run one.
Checklist for a display case in Kohima
- A 43 °C ambient rating is still worth asking for — summer highs average 24.6 °C, and the air around a working unit is warmer than the weather.
- Display glass fogs easily in Kohima's humid air (83% average). Ask about anti-fog or heated glass and keep the case away from doors that let in outside air.
- Fill the case to the load line only. Product stacked above it sits outside the cold air curtain and warms quickly, especially cream and dairy sweets.
- Clean the condenser coil at least monthly; it is the single biggest factor in keeping a unit efficient through summer.
