Reach-in Refrigerator in Guwahati
Upright stainless cabinets in one-, two- and three-section builds, with full or half doors. Refrigerator, freezer, dual-temperature and convertible versions share the same body, so a kitchen can standardise on one footprint and one set of spares. In Guwahati, August afternoons average 31.8 °C and humidity averages 81% across the year — here is what that means when you choose and run one.
Checklist for a reach-in in Guwahati
- A 43 °C ambient rating is still worth asking for — summer highs average 31.8 °C, and the air around a working unit is warmer than the weather.
- Fan-forced (ventilated) cooling keeps temperature even from top shelf to bottom, which matters in a busy back kitchen.
- Leave the clearance the maker specifies above and behind the cabinet; reach-ins usually exhaust heat upward and need space to breathe.
- Clean the condenser coil at least monthly; it is the single biggest factor in keeping a unit efficient through summer.
