What Aligarh's climate means for your refrigeration
- Plan for 26 or so days a year above 40 °C outdoors — and more inside a kitchen. Choose cabinets rated to hold temperature at 43 °C ambient (climate class T), not the 32 °C many units are tested at.
- Humidity climbs above 75% from January to September. Glass doors may fog during those months, and frost builds faster in freezers opened often — keep doors closed and seals in good order.
- Winter nights drop to around 7.9 °C. Units standing in unheated stores or verandas can behave differently in cold weather — check that the controller and compressor are suited to low ambient conditions if equipment sits outside a heated space.
- Summer evenings often bring voltage drops and power cuts. Give each large unit its own earthed socket, ask about the operating voltage range, and plan backup for anything that cannot be allowed to warm up.
